On Friday, January 7, 2005, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. His strength and quiet determination inspired those in his
presence. A 1967 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he completed a career in the Navy as a decorated combat pilot and accomplished staff officer, retiring in 1988 as a Commander.
After retiring from the Navy, he continued his service to the military community as the Deputy Director of the Contract Services and Marketing department for the Military Officers Association of America.
