Both of the "World Famous" Blue Shark Sailors of the Quarter for the second quarter of 1986 were selected from the quality assurance division. Recognized as outstanding were AD2 A. G. Williams, Senior Sailor of the Quarter, and AZ3 M. J. Rombach, Junior Sailor of the Quarter.

AD2 Williams, the Aviation Machinist's Mate quality assurance representative, was singled out for his superior performance in several areas. Most notable were his assistance to the power plants shop during the pre-deployment inspection and their transition to the Cubi Point environment. He was also invaluable during a recent detachment where maintenance personnel were few and supply support was non-existent. He has long been sought after for his technical expertise and training abilities.

AZ3 Rombach, the central technical publications librarian, was recognized for his "can-do" spirit. He spent many off-duty hours designing a computer program to assist him in publications management. His new system enables him to completely review, and expeditiously update all technical publications held by the management department. His efforts toward reducing paperwork have been a tremendous asset.

A Blue Shark Well Done to both of these men for this fine achievement!
